“I became attracted to Brangus Cattle in the early 1970s & became a member of the Australian Brangus Cattle Association in 1975. A decision I have never regretted & watched the Brangus Breed develop & grow into the significant breed that it is today. Commercial cattle breeders are recognising the traits in Brangus that are stand out features in profitability over other breeds.

They are: lower birth weights that greatly improve successful calving, resistance to ‘pink eye’ & tick resistance, greater ability to deal with harsh weather conditions, excellent weight gain as seen in many feed trails, greater longevity & productive life spans & consistent popularity with butchers in carcass quality.

In my lifetime I have witnessed all of these traits & never doubted I am involved with a great breed of cattle.

In 1994 we moved to a larger property in South Gippsland, & our herd greatly benefited by many Queensland Brangus bulls we purchased with semen shares in conjunction with Bimbadeen Brangus Qld. Our herd is bred from these bloodlines with some infusion of two USA bulls.

The result of all this is we have a breeding herd of about 180 cows & do retain a limited number of the best bull calves for private sale.

Your enquiry & inspection are invited.”
